Drei Alben, die mich besonders überrascht haben, schicken in diesem Monat, je einige Songs in meinen Charts auf die Reise; Da wäre zum einen Manifest von Vanguard, das schon nach einmaligem Durchhören seine Qualitäten, mit offensichtlichen Ohrwürmern, unwiderstehlichen Melodien und kraftvoll tanzbaren Synthesizersounds präsentiert. Dann wäre da Hey You von Rotersand, von dem ich zunächst nichts erwartet habe, da Rotersand mir sonst eher atmosphärisch vorkamen, ohne besondere Hooklines, die bei mir hängen blieben. Ein klassisches Acid-Stück wie Monkeys on a Tree, kann bei mir allerdings immer das Eis brechen. Zuletzt muss ich noch Nox von Soman erwähnen. Nachdem ich Blue Flame gehört hatte, dachte ich, das könnte interessant werden. Ein einmaliges Durchhören des Albums, brachte mir allerdings zunächst die Erkenntnis ''Okay, die haben ein ganzes Album, mit den acht Sounds aus Blue Flame gemacht. - Wenig originell.'' - Allerdings schafften mit Phlux und Bace, bereits zwei weitere Titel, mich über diesen Monat zu begeistern. Die Songs aus dem Eurovision Song Contest dieses Jahres, sind inzwischen auch an meine Ohren gelangt und für meinen Geschmack, hat Norwegen die Nase vorne, mit Spirit in The Sky von Keiino. Island liefert mit seinem Beitrag, einer Mischung aus Combichrist und Grimes, natürlich den diesjährigen Exoten ab, was man daran erkennt, das der Normalbürger mit meinem Vergleich immer noch nichts anfangen kann. Weiterhin erwähnenswert könnte sein, das der neue Titel Unde ai fost pana acum von BiBi, ähnliches Ohrwurmpotential, wie ihr Hit Ciocolata haben könnte. |
